Starting the critter concept
The founder of the new company requested a detailed, clean design that can be uniquely recognizable. A specific request was to create a cute, friendly critter, while still representing a professional business.
Logo design
Adding a complex font would have overpowered the overall design, instead I used Avenir in both Roman and Black, with a slight, inner shadow and a wooden texture within the word “Chipmunk” to make it stand out.
Final result
The client was happy and loved the design. He now has a business card he can hand out that makes his brand more memorable to gain more contract opportunities. There's also additional opportunities for further advertisement including a website, printed door hangers, service signs, and vehicle wraps.
Both the logo and business card projects were completed in Adobe Illustrator.
